Early Relational Health

Nurturing your young child’s primary relationships for a lifetime of social & emotional well-being. We do this together by…

Building your sense of competence and confidence as your child’s primary caregiver

Exploring your hopes for your baby and your anxieties of becoming a parent

Learning strategies for managing parenting stress

Reflecting on the social and emotional needs of both you and your child and working to meet those needs

Learning together about your infant - how to read their cues and understand their needs; and your toddler and preschooler - how to make meaning of and manage their big emotions and difficult behaviors.

Providing information and anticipatory guidance on early childhood development to help you prepare for the next milestone and regression

Promoting a mutually enjoyable relationship and a stronger bond and connection between you and your child

Referring to appropriate external providers for outside services (ie. early intervention, etc.)

Depending on location, I offer all of my services in your home, or other natural environment where your child lives and plays, for an additional travel fee. The benefits of home visiting for your family may include: less time traveling, more comfortable setting, easier to practice new skills, ability to stay engaged for a longer period, involvement from multiple family members and peers in the treatment process.

I offer consultation for teachers and administrators in early learning settings to promote positive student-teacher relationships and outcomes in the classroom. These services address concerns related to difficult behaviors, learning and attention challenges, and sensory differences; and include teacher coaching, lesson planning, and tailored trainings for your center.
